so not much has happened other than work. work is work so i’m just sitting there counting the days until the weekends. basically i checked off the day first thing each morning that i get in. then i count how many more days until friday or thursday and how many weeks have passed by. basically, they pay me to update documents and learn new things so yeah. similar to data entry but of course i get twice as much money. or that i get five hours pay for writing a one page document. compare that to the type of essays i hadto write in classes. a lot more pages with research and what do i get: a red mark C. or a B if i tried hard enough. that’s why most people don’t really like school ’cause no money and lots of work. anyhoo, i read some of the ieee magazine that they sent home this past weekend. apparently this guy was writing about how he didn’t get his bachelor until 17 years after high school, then after another 7 years, he got his master. and now after about 30 years, he’s starting his PhD. i guess it’s never too late. just figure out what you wanna do and head towards that path. some people do it sooner, some later. the only thing that matter is that when you hit 40-ish you’ll probably find something you like to do. like most of the stuff that i hear the principle and senior engineers talk about is what i’ve learned in class last year and i’m kinda interested in it. although they’ve been at the company for about 10-20 years so maybe that’s why. actually, i don’t really care what kind of work i get anymore just as long that time passes by quickly ’cause i figured that it’ll probably take me some years to finally get to work on fun stuff like them. in the mean time, i’m just trying to finish the work and concentrate in school in the upcoming fall.
